UK Coffee Week

UK Coffee Week is an annual event that celebrates all things coffee while raising funds for Project Waterfall, a charity initiative that brings clean water, sanitation, and education to coffee-growing communities around the world. Typically held in April, this week-long event encourages coffee enthusiasts and businesses to come together for a good cause, with various activities and promotions focused on coffee.

Things to Promote This Week at Work

Host a Coffee Tasting Session: Arrange a coffee tasting session where staff can sample different types of coffee from around the world. This can be an educational and enjoyable way for staff to appreciate the diversity of coffee.

Set Up a Coffee Station: Create a dedicated coffee station in the break room with a variety of high-quality coffee beans, brewing equipment (such as French presses, pour-over kits, or an espresso machine), and an array of add-ons like syrups, spices, and milk alternatives. Encourage staff to experiment with making their own coffee drinks throughout the week.

Charity Coffee Morning: Organise a charity coffee morning where staff can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and homemade cakes or pastries. Set up a donation box and encourage contributions to Project Waterfall. Highlight the importance of the cause and how their donations will help coffee-growing communities gain access to clean water.

Coffee and Conversation: Encourage networking by setting aside time for "Coffee and Conversation" sessions between staff and patients or even hold your PPG group meeting during this week.
